    How long does it normally take for a domain to be unlocked on Namecheap? I am trying to transfer a domain to wordpress.

    Hi there,

    That is something you’ll need to ask Namecheap. In general, though, the domain should be unlocked immediately, but it can take a few hours for the Whois database to update before other providers are able to detect that the domain is unlocked.
