  Can I transfer a domain that is being hosted on another site to WordPress? Can I transfer another domain to WordPress for free? If I can transfer anther domain to WordPress, can I rename the domain via WordPress?

  Can I transfer another domain to WordPress for free?

  No. You need a paid plan to transfer and use a domain on WordPress.com.

  If I can transfer anther domain to WordPress, can I rename the domain via WordPress?

  Domains cannot be renamed. You can simply register a new domain instead.
