Domain transfer

  I bought a domain through Google domains (like 30 minutes ago) and then realized that I couldn’t put WordPress on Google. I’d like to now transfer the domain to WordPress, but from looking at your site – it looks like I now have to wait 60 days? Is this correct?

  Hi there, you don’t mention whether you mean the WordPress software on a 3rd party web hosting provider or here on the hosted WordPressdotcom platform. This support guide will help you make a decision about which “WordPress” best suits your needs https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Regardless, when you register a new domain, ICANN, which oversees domain registrations, prohibits transfer of a newly registered domain for a period of 60 days from initial registration. You can still use your new domain by changing the Domain Name Servers (DNS) at your domain registrar.
