  Hi am buiding a site on my wordpress.com for someone who has a wordpress.org that they want to use. How can we register that site here. http://growplace-chicago.org

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I’m not sure I understand what you want to do. The domain, growplace-chicago.org, is currently registered and hosted with Bluehost.com, and pointed to a still-unpublished site using the stand-alone WordPress software.

  Are you saying you want to use that domain with your site hosted here on WordPress.com instead? Or do you want to migrate that entire site to WordPress.com instead?

  Once I understand better what you’re trying to do, I’d be better able to advise you on how to proceed.

  Hi and thank you for writing to me. I created a .wordpress.com version of the site on my blog and wanted to transfer it to the one on Bluehost.com. I kind of botched it doing the transfer in form of a file. I can fix it bit be bit but wanted to know what is the right procedure. Thank you, always willing to learn
