  To transfer a domain to WordPress.com requires you to upgrade to our Personal Plan or higher:

  One domain registration or domain transfer is included for free with the plan, and in the case of a domain transfer that will also renew your domain for an additional year.

  From the second year onwards, the renewal cost of the domain depends on the specific domain extension. You can see our current renewal cost for the domain extensions we support here:
