Domain transfer after closing the WP account.

    I need to transfer the domain I used at the WP to new server account.

    I actually did request the transfer and it was actually processing,
    however account at the WP was once completely closed since I thought by just requesting the transfering the domain is enough to complete the transferring process.

    I wanted to delete whatever unnecessary anymore which is the reason why I closed the blog and close the upgraded plan… obviously was not wise!?!?

    I also got an email from the new server company that the domain transfer request was rejected.

    I desire to transfer the domain safely to new company I am with…

    How does this get any better from here?
    What else is possible?

    Hi there,

    The moment you cancelled the domain you stopped owning it and the domain stopped existing. You can’t transfer something you don’t own and that doesn’t exist.

    Luckily I can still restore the domain in this case.

    As you’ve also deleted the site to which the domain was connected, I’ve connected it to the other site in your account, thecapevillage.wordpress.com.

    Go to My Site ->Domains and restart the transfer. The domain upgrade will be removed from your account automatically after the transfer completes, so please don’t manually remove anything.
