Domain Transfer BACK to WordPress.com

    Hello,

    I purchased my own domain through wordpress.com two years ago in January 2015. Less than a month ago (December 2016), I switched my domain over to hosting site Bluehost.com in order to use wordpress.org instead of wordpress.com. I realized I do not have enough time nor expertise to use a self-hosted wordpress.org website.

    I am interested in transferring my domain http://www.bloodymarytour.org back to wordpress.com but am unsure on how to do so. Since I originally purchased my domain through wordpress.com, I was hoping there would be only the usual $25/year hosting charge. Can you help me transfer my domain back?

    While we register new domains here at WordPress.com (and can obviously transfer them OUT to other registrars), we’re not able to accept incoming transfers. Therefore, we recommend that you keep the name registered at your current registrar. You can use the domain for your site here at WordPress.com by mapping the domain, as explained here:
