Domain transfer/backup issue

    This morning I transferred our domain from our sister organization in Europe to a new host (Bluehost) – a change of domain host and ownership. I backed up our WordPress site before initiating the transfer but somehow neglected to download the backup and now can’t access the admin area connected to the site because the domain has been transferred to the new host but the site has not. I’m not optimistic, but is there any way to access the site backup and files in this situation?

    What is the specific domain that was transferred? Was it previously registered here at WordPress.com? Or was it a WordPress site hosted elsewhere?
