Domain transfer failed

    Hello. I followed the instructions to transfer my domain name and I received the following notice, saying the transfer failed:

    The transfer of elizabethkking.com from WordPress.com to another registrar could not be completed for the following reason(s):

    Express written objection to the transfer from the Transfer Contact. (e.g. – email, fax, paper document or other processes by which the Transfer Contact has expressly and voluntarily objected through opt-in means).

    I am not sure what any of this means – how can I fix this so I can transfer the domain?

    Hi there!

    Some registrars require the domain contacts’ privacy protection to be turned off when transferring a domain. Please follow the steps here to turn off the privacy protection and then try the transfer again.
