Domain Transfer to wordpress.com

    I recently purchased a domain name elsewhere on April 10, 2019.

    I would like to upgrade to the blogger plan here at wordpress.com and have my domain transfer here so I can have everything in one place.

    Can I go ahead and purchase the plan and transfer my domain name or is there a waiting period on when I can transfer my domain name?

    Is there an additional fee to transfer domain name?

    Hi there,

    I see you’ve since upgraded to Personal and added the domain mapping upgrade. Note that new domains, no matter where you register them, cannot be transferred for 60 days after registration. Once those 60 days are over, you’ll be able to transfer the domain to us at no additional cost, provided you don’t in the meantime use the free domain in your personal plan to buy another domain.

    The Blogger plan can only be used to register or transfer a single .blog domain for use with your site. Any other domain requires at least the Personal Plan.
