  I just purchased the domain with GoDaddy yesterday. how much will i pay to transfer it

  If you’re planning on creating a site here at WordPress.com it would have been more straightforward to buy the domain here too. As you have purchased a domain elsewhere it is locked for 60 days before it can be transferred here (or anywhere else). What you can do is create a site here at WordPress.com with an upgraded plan and then you can map your new domain to the WordPress.com site.
