Domain Unavailable
-
I acquired the domain ‘nestedfractally.com’ through WordPress to host my blog for a year, but did not renew the subscription, which expired about a month ago. But when I tried to secure the domain elsewhere (via GoDaddy.com), it shows as ‘already taken’, and when I looked at whois.com, it seems to be still owned by WordPress for one more year. How can I get the domain back, and possibly host on other providers?

Hi,
Expired or cancelled domains are not released immediately. They are returned to the registrar.
Would you like us to try to get this back for you? You would still be able to point it to another provider.

Hi. Yes, that’d be nice. Is there a phone or e-mail I could contact to discuss? I didn’t realize this was a public forum.

Hi, usually if you have upgrades you get paid support rather than public forums. You had cancelled your upgrade, so you were sent here.
I was able to email though. You can respond there. Cheers!
