  If I have 5000 views on my .wordpress.com domain, will my new domain (.com) still have those 5000 views? or will it be like a whole new website with 0 views?

  Hi there,

  Adding a custom domain to your site is like putting a new cover on the book – it doesn’t change the book in any way, and neither will adding a domain change your site in any way.

  So your content, stats, followers, and everything else will remain exactly the same. Literally all that will change is the address that appears in someone’s browser when they’re looking at your site.
