Domain.com and wordpress compatibility

  I have a domain name from domain.com and a WordPress site with the name I’d like to incorporate with each other. I bought the package that combines the two from domain.com; however, when it tries to log in it says that there is already a site under that name. All the help from domain.com did not help, so they said it must be an issue on the end of WordPress. Any suggestions on what to do?

  I’m unsure what you are referring to here.

  In order to use a domain you have registered elsewhere with your WordPress.com site, you need to purchase the Domain Mapping upgrade and then set your domain’s nameservers to point to WordPress.com as instructed here:
