  my domain is listed as; virtualrealitydotorg.com. I would like to take out the dot.org. Can you tell me how to do so?

  It can’t be changed then. You can try to register the other version of it’s available.

  Just remember … if you type ‘.org’, the system here converts it to ‘dotorg’ for some reason, so just type the domain name itself.

  As for the other one:

  To cancel a domain you registered with WordPress.com, please log into your account, then go to Store → My Upgrades and use the “Cancel” link in the Subscription Status column. If it’s more than 2 days past the purchase date, you will not receive a refund, but the domain will be cancelled.

  If you are inside the 48 hour refund window you should be able to get a refund for the bad spelling:

  Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades
