  I am a user of wordpress.com. Does the domain already belong to me or do I need to register it? If i do, wt does that consist of?

  The TLD (top level domain) here is WordPress.com. You have registered a wordpress.com username and have registered a blog on a .wordpress.com sub-domain. No other registration is required.
