  Hi, if I have purchased a domain name from another provider how much does it cost to transfer it so my WordPress site becomes my website?

  Also, if I create other webpages/tabs around my original WordPress blog page how can I make my new domain point to one of the other webpages/tabs as opposed to the original blog page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, you would need to have the WordPress.com Personal, Premium or Business plan, which includes domain mapping so you can use your existing domain name.

  Thanks ‘thescaredpath’. Do you know if it’s possible to make my newly assigned domain point to one of the other webpages/tabs as opposed to the original blog page?
  I have created a new tab as a homepage which I would like to be the first page a visitor lands on as opposed to the existing blog page…

  That’s possible, yes, via a setting built right into the WordPress software. You can even do it with the free address.

  You can set a different page than the posts page as the Front Page of your site from the Customizer. Instructions here:
