  I don’t want to change my domain. I’m afraid that I’ll lose current followers. I just want to be ad-free. Is this possible?

  You did not mention it, but this is regarding the Personal plan you added on webscammerjammer.wordpress.com yes?

  I can confirm that there are no ads on that site now (the Personal plan has turned off ads on webscammerjammer.wordpress.com) and you do not need to register a new domain if you wish. You can continue to use webscammerjammer.wordpress.com as your site address, and ignore the option to add the custom address included in your plan.

  Just to clarify, this is not an issue at all. If you add a custom address to your site we will adjust automatically so all your current followers will still get email updates of new activity. The only difference is the link (in their email) will go to the new custom address automatically.

  So with this in mind, you are safe to add a custom domain if you wish, but you are definitely not required to.
