Domine Hosting
-
I recently paid for the personal plan for my site on WordPress, but I was unable to get what I need to operate my site. I contacted WordPress and had a chat with one the staff and I was told that the problem was that I had to get another company to host the site. I was also told that I would have to end my subscription, but would retain my domain name and have a refund of $10. I ended the subscription and went to Bluehost to host the site. Once I did this, I was told that I would be able to continue using my domain name while I was on Bluehost. Its been over 5days since I transferred to Bluehost, but for some reason I am unable to use the site and when I contacted Bluehost, I was told that WordPress would have to transfer the domain name to them so I can update my site. I want to ask if this problem can be fixed as soon as possible. Thank you

Hi there,
It looks like you in fact cancelled your domain as well when you cancelled your plan. It’s not possible to transfer a cancelled domain.
If you still want to use that domain I can still restore it for you. Then you can map it to Bluehost until you’ve owned it for 60 days, at which point you can transfer it. To map the domain you’ll need to ask Bluehost for their name servers, then I can add those for you when I restore the domain.

Yes can you please restore the domain. The name servers are nf.bluehost.com And nf2.bluehost.com . Will restoring the domain restore our wordpress plan as well?

I’ve restored your domain, but the name servers you provided does not work. Are you sure they are correct? Shouldn’t it perhaps be ns1 and ns2, instead of nf and nf2?
Your plan has not been restored, no, as the non-domain part of the plan was refunded. As you are pointing the domain to Bluehost, you don’t actually need a plan with us.

Done. Name server changes can take up to 72 hours to update across the web, but your domain should start showing your Bluehost site within a few hours.
