domoain and hosting

    hi there

    i bought my domain and hosting of an external site (namecheap.com) ive finished my website but it isnt allowing me to enter my domain i bought, it says the name has allready been taken when i enter to use it and assosiate it with my webiste.

    is there a way to do this?

    Hi there,

    If you have hosting at Namecheap, you’re using the open source WordPress software made by the community on WordPress.org. That is something completely different from WordPress.com, where you are now, and your Namecheap site has nothing to do with us or with your WordPress.com username account.

    For help connecting a domain to your site hosted on Namecheap, please contact their support directly.
