    Hi there, How to link the donation button to the bank account to eliminate any extra fees. We really need every dollars to help the children in needs.

    Hi there,

    In order to have a button like that you’d need three things:

    1) Your bank would have to provide an API that allows third-party software to connect to their systems to facilitate such a transaction.

    2) A WordPress plugin that integrates with that API

    3) If you want to use that plugin on a site hosted with us on WordPress.com, a Business Plan, as that’s required to install plugins on WordPress.com.

    Individual banks don’t tend to have public APIs for stuff like this, as it’s not profitable for them to run those, not with all the competition from payment processors like PayPal, Stripe, Square, and others, who can process payments in multiple currencies and from multiple sources.

    If you want to ask for donations directly to your bank account, the simplest way is to add the account details to your site so people can just make deposits via EFT.
