Don’t have access to email address owner of site
-
I created a site two years ago and used a domain I had purchased, but don’t have it now and would like to access my site. Can I somehow move the site to a new email address to be the owner?

Thank for writing to us. Please let me know the site URL involved. With that information we can take a closer look.

You can definitely move the site to a different account. In order to that, though, you need access to the original account.
We can accept several forms of proof to restore account access. Once you gain account access you can proceed with moving the site.

I don’t have access to my original account but I do have access to what I likely had as a recovery email. I was using a free wordpress account so don’t have the transaction ID, didn’t use 2FA so can’t use these ways to prove it was my account. What other options do I have?

If you can’t log into the account that owns the site and cannot provide any of the account recovery information, there is no way to prove that you are the owner of the site. Without proving that you are the owner, you cannot gain access to it.
