don't send emails when I post
-
I have searched for how to turn off emails being sent to people following my blog. I am still unclear. I do not want my posts to be emailed at this time. Where can I control this? thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot prevent any Public posts you publish from appearing in the RSS Feed for your posts http://charts101.wordpress.com/feed/ unless you make visibility changes to “private” or “password protected”.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/Your subscribers control their subscriptions and the frequency they choose to set fro receiving your posts.

Thank you for your response.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/
says:
“Private – Posts are only visible to blog Editors and Administrators. Private posts are not visible in the Reader, feeds, or in any search. A post can be private without being password protected.”
I know I never set up any feeds.
I thought there was a setting to turn on or off whether an email automatically gets sent to a follower.
I thought I used such a setting to set up the email functionality in the first place. When you first follow a blog the “follow” button asks for an email where you will “Get every new post delivered to your Inbox.” This is specifically what I’m trying to control.
