double domains. two accounts. confused user
-
I am new to word press blue host. I picked a domain…seniorlivinglarge.com. after watching 4 videos, signing up for Blue Host and getting 4 sets of logon passwords…i could not get into my word press. I asked to reset. Now it appears my blog domain is jacquekbradley instead of senior living large which i set up for 3 years. Can this be fixed? I went PREMIUM. How many places do I pay to register?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
It looks like there is some confusion between WordPress.com and the self-hosted (or in your case BlueHost hosted) WordPress install on WordPress.org.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities. At WordPress.com, we provide hosting, support, and tons of features for blogs. Users also have the option to purchase a variety of upgrades to customize the look and feel of their blog. WordPress.org is a software for self-hosted sites. With WordPress.org, users are provided access to all backend files and can upload custom themes and plugins.
Check here to learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org:
So it seems like you have a WordPress.org site hosted with Bluehost and a WordPress.com site: jacquekbradley.wordpress.com with Premium. Please note that these sites are completely separate sites. This is currently the support forums of WordPress.com, so I’d only be able to help you with jacquekbradley.wordpress.com. Since WordPress.org is a completely different entity you would have to speak with BlueHost about that other site.
If you made this WordPress.com site in error, please let me know and I’d be happy to refund you for Premium as it would not transfer to WordPress.org.
Let me know if you have any questions with this!

I think I made it in error. I want to start a blog for friends to follow. Private. No adds. It sounds like.org is more complicated or advanced than I need. Can I make the seniorlivinglarge.com domain premium?
-
Sure!
I looked into that domain and it seems like it was registered through BlueHost:
http://who.wildwestdomains.com/whoisstd.aspx?domain=seniorlivinglarge.com&prog_id=wildwestdomains
Please contact BlueHost support and ask them to update the name servers as below:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
For more information, please visit the help documentation provided by the registrar and our support page:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
Since you purchased WordPress.com Premium the domain mapping upgrade is included. Just go to Store > My Domains and add the mapping for seniorlivinglarge.com. You will not have to pay extra for it.
Let me know if you have any questions with this!
