download and delete

  Hi,

  I would like to download my content and remove my blog. The online instructions don’t reflect the options available to me (i.e. there is no ‘settings’ link when I click ‘my site’.

  Any ideas?

  The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  You can export your site by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/export/

  And then, if desired, delete it by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/

  However, for the site you’re referring to, you’re currently logged in to is just an Author on the site.

  Only Administrators can export the site, and only the Owner can delete it.

  If you do not recall the password for the correct account, we have some options for you at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/

  Ahhhh yes, that is the problem. I am not logged in as Admin.

  But the problem is that I was the admin under my old email address and I no longer have access to that account….
