download ENTIRE blog

  my question is simple. i have a couple of old blogs thats that i want to delete, but for sentimental reasons i want to download them and keep them in my archives for posterity.

  i have ubuntu 12, and ive tried using wget to download the thing, but it only downloads one website at a time it seems. is there no way that i can download the whole directory for these blogs so i can delete them and still have my entire content?

  yes, they are free hosted wordpress blogs

  Then you can log into the blogs and use the exporter to create an XML file of your content. Themes cannot be exported; only content can be exported. http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
