Drop down menu – not in header
-
Hi there,
I am trying to add a drop down menu into my wordpress website but all the tutorials are adding them into a header and I don’t want to do this. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to add a drop down menu to a page – maybe using shortcode?
I would like the drop down menu to be at the top of the page and when the user clicks on it 6/7 pages drop down so they can click on them and get redirected to them, but I would only like them to be accessible via these pages (hence I don’t want it on the header). I did have screenshot to help you get a better understanding but it seems as though I cannot add them! So for reference if you visit Amazon.com it is like the filtering menu they use.
Many thanks! -
Hi there,
I do not see any sites under your @vincenzonannetti WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.
Is it possible you created your site under a different login? Is it the case that you are using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?
Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

Hi, I think I have posted this question on the wrong website, I am using wordpress.org!
Thanks anyway

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
