Duplicate Account

  So have had to get a Gavatar account to get a profile picture for GitHub (that a pain).
  I originally setup account im sure without needing a wordpress. eventually i try to login in one day and it wouldn’t let me. so i though i need to create an account with wordpress to access my Gavatar account. it turns out for some reason now i have two account linked to diffrent usernames and e-mail address.

  alectronic0 – (email visible only to moderators and staff) ( the new one create which i want to keep)
  alectronic1 – (email visible only to moderators and staff) (the original one however that shouldn’t of been the default e-mail address)

  how can i fix this i really want my account (or atleast the one with alectronic1) deleted and by law (if i im correct) you should be able to have any information about you removed if it is not necessary to the business.

  Hi there,

  Gravatar is part of the WordPress.com network, so all Gravatar accounts are WordPress.com accounts (and all WordPress.com accounts have a Gravatar). You can read more about that here: http://en.gravatar.com/support/wordpress-accounts/

  If you don’t want your Gravatar profile to be public, you can hide it from the public. To do that, sign in to Gravatar.com and go to “My Profile.” Click on “View Profile” and on your profile click the “Hide My Profile” button.

  WordPress.com accounts are permanent, but you can remove any personal information from your account if you wish. We have more information about that here: Deleting Accounts
