duplicate accounts, need to find out how to merge into one?

    I have a couple of WordPress accounts, I need to know how to combine/transfer into one. The site url I want to be able to admin and change is retired-nomads.com, registered to me. The account info is:
    Retired-Nomad

    Logging in as (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    @derotzak     – no pages, can be deleted but this login does show as ‘My Site’ the retired-nomads.com site but I cannot edit from this login…?

    Ideally, I want to be create an account Retired-Nomads (or RetiredNomads) have the access to edit the current pages that point to retired-nomads.com and delete the @derotzak and @johnkrischer accounts to keep this simple. What can I do, what can you help me with? No hurry, just want to clean house a bit and go on from there.

    Hi there,

    The retired-nomads.com site you see in this account is not a WordPress.com site, but an old Jetpack-connected site from when you had that site hosted somewhere else using the open source version of WordPress, and connected to your WordPress.com account using the Jetpack plugin.

    If you’re no longer using that self-hosted site, we should remove that connection from your account. Please confirm if I can go ahead and do that.

    The WordPress.com site now showing at https://retired-nomads.com/ is a completely different site, and belongs to a completely different WordPress.com account, and has no connection at all to your derotzak account.

    If you want derotzak to own the site instead, you first have to log into the other account, and then transfer the site as explained here:

    This will also transfer all upgrades the other account owns.

    Or if you just want both accounts to have access to the site, log in as the other account and go to My Site ->Manage ->People, and invite derotzak as a user on the site. Then log back in as derotzak to accept the invitation, and both accounts will show that site in My Sites.
