DUPLICATE CONTENT OR GHOST PAGINATION?
-
Hi. I´ve noticed that many sites made under wordpress, shows the same home page typping: http://www.MYSITE.com and http://www.MYSITE.com/page2 or page3, 4, 1000, etc. I think it should give a ‘not existing page’ advice or going back to the real home page (www.MYSITE.com).
How can I do so when typing http://www.MYSITE.com/page2 it takes me to the real http://www.MYSITE.com or give a ‘not existing page advice’?
Thanks in advantage

Why you can see my home page when type:
http://www.myhomepage.com and whenyou type:
ww.myhomepage.com/PAGE2 or PAGE3, etc?You can visit any page in WordPress althougn they have or not elements for pagination.
I think it sould give you back to the canonical http://www.myhomepage.com or give you a 404 error, but it does not have any sense to keep the strucutre in the url.
It is not an error for google search but I would like to know how can I avoid it.
