Duplicate Multiple Emails Follow Comment

  Someone commented on one of my blog posts on Jan 10. That blog post was an embedded video link to YouTube. After entering his Comment, he checked the box to receive an email for each follow-up comment. No comments were posted after Jan 10, but he claims to have received 4 emails with the same content in follow-up to his comment. I’ve looked all over my settings for this parameter but have found none. Do you know what is causing this and/or how to make it stop?
