Duplicate side menu issue

  I’m seeing the side menu of recent posts, search, and categories… twice. Why is it duplicated? How do I fix it?

  Hi there,

  This is happening because your theme has two side areas for widgets, and somehow they both ended up having the same widgets.

  To fix that, you need to remove one of the two columns. To do that, go to My Sites > Appearance > Customize > Widgets > Sidebar 2 and remove all the widgets one by one. Then don’t forget to click on the Save Changes button at the top.
