Duplicating home page content

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi,

I have a problem with creating a new page without it duplicating the homepage. And if I try to edit a page independent of the other, the changes reflect in the other pages, and it’s so frustrating as I cannot edit anything and I’m wasting time.

To top it all off, I contacted the support two days ago and nobody has replied to me, after paying!

    Anyone’s help will be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Christine Mako.

    Hi Christine,

I have visited your website. Your site does not appear to be published at this time.

Have you tried creating a blank page to see if it works?

    Hi,

Thanks. Yes, I put the website under coming soon, since my editing was going haywire.

There is an option to add a new page but it doesn’t give me the option of a blank page. It just copies pre-existing ones. And I have tried making a custom blank template, but then the blank template replicates itself in all pages…

Don’t know what else to do.

I was editing the template and it was fine. Then I got to a section that I wanted to delete and it sent me a warning dialog box (which I really didnt read). Since then, the problem has been happening.

Alright, yes. The problem was in the theme. I had to change it and I think it’s gone now.

Thanks to you both for helping. You don’t how much you’ve lessened my frustration.
