    Hi, I am working at a small, but growing company. I want to have a video chat session to learn more about WordPress and ask my questions before I present my idea to my manager.     Personally I recommend buying your plan, following one of our guides to get started, and then bringing any remaining questions to your session. Or, if you’re struggling, try to have some content and images ready to work with. That way you can get the most out of the session.

    Thank you for your response.

    We want to use WordPress for an established business to list the company’s products for sale. The company already has a website, but we want to redesign the website and make it super user friendly.

    This is why we are looking into other website hosting platforms like WordPress, before we invest in WordPress, there are some question we want to ask and clarify, such as:

    • I am not an WordPress expert, in fact never designed a website, how will I start designing it and if I get stuck who will I talk to and get the problem resolved? How long does it take to get contacted or help from WordPress?

    • Does WordPress also come with a blog page? If so, is it included in the plan when purchasing WordPress plan?

    • What kind of payment methods available when customer purchases a product and are those payment methods free of charges to the company?

    • As WordPress has Business plan and e-commerce plan, what are the difference between those two?

    We recommend that you use WooCommerce for any eCommerce bits. WooCommerce has PayPal built-in as a payment gateway, but there are more you can add: https://woocommerce.com/product-category/woocommerce-extensions/payment-gateways/

    and are those payment methods free of charges to the company?

    Specifics would be up to the payment gateways. WooCommerce won’t take a cut of the payments, but most payment gateways do.
