E-mail change

  Hello. Ive just found a few weeks ago this blog, that I used to hold while I was a teenager. I remembered the wordpress password, but I cant get into the e-mail that I used in order to create the blog. Is there any way for me to change the official e-mail on which wordpress sends me notifications, without confirming from the old one, the one that I can`t get into?

  Hi,
  Yes. According to the Update Email Address support page, changing the Email address does not require access to the address being replaced. The support page says:

  You can update your email address in your Account Settings.

  Once you’ve entered a new email address and clicked “Save Account Settings,” you’ll receive an email at the new address with a confirmation link. You must click the confirmation link to confirm the change and update the email on your account.

  However, it also says,

  If you contact us for help, we will require an email from the address registered with the account as this proves account ownership. Otherwise, we cannot help.
