E-MAIL NOTIFICATIONS, to my email address: (email visible only to moderators and staff)?

    have been getting email ‘notifications’ that I have ”New User Registration” on my website. What is this? Who are those ”registering”/”blogging,” e.g., E-MAIL: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Hi there,

    On what site is this? User registration is not possible on WordPress.com sites, and the only site in your account, orishawa.wordpress.com, has not been changed in over four years.

    If you have another site using the open source WordPress.org software at another host, these emails mean you have guest registrations enabled on your site. That setting can be found at WP-Admin ->Settings ->General.
