e-mail on my active account

  I’ve created 2 accounts, one is my ‘active’ one (or that I want to ‘re-activate’) and this has an old e-mail address that is now closed. The other account, my inactive one which I don’t plan to use, has my current e-mail address. I can’t put my current e-mail address into my ‘active’ account because it says this e-mail address is already being used on another account.
