  Readers are complaining that they have started getting emails every time they post a comment and someone answers it. How can they stop that happening, please?

  Hi, they can disable those notification emails from their Account Settings:

  https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/comments

  Also, they can turn that off for individual posts they have commented on. Here is how to configure that:
