e-mails notifying of new postings flash up then disappear

  Followers report that the notification flashes briefly then disappears. I have this happen to me on a blog I follow too so it must be a glitch in the system. The e-mail notification of a new posting goes through but it often just blinks and is gone before it can be read. Refreshing the page and changing cookie settings doesn’t do it.
