easy way to view site
-
This is I’m sure an easy questions to answer, but I can’t figure it out. There used to be an easy way to view how my sites appear to the viewer from the WP admin site, now I can’t easily switch to see viewer mode from any of the menus–or at least I can’t figure it out. What is the secret and why is it now so hidden?

Hi there,
This used to be possible via the admin bar menu, but that menu was deprecated some time ago as it duplicated functionality of the default My Sites interface on WordPress.com.
So if you’re in WP-Admin and want to view your site you have two options:
1) Click in the browser address bar, and delete everything in the URL from
/wp-admin/...onwards. Then reload the page.2) Click on My Sites in the admin bar, and Cmd/Ctrl-click the View {blog name} link at the top of the menu. Just clicking without holding Cmd/Ctrl will instead open a preview of the site in a frame inside the My Sites interface.
I just keep a link to my site’s front end and WP-Admin bookmarked in my browser so I can easily reach them when needed, so that’s also an option you can consider.
