  We are considering a new site that will need to include ecommerce (mostly, customers will be paying for downloading files). Do you recommend wordpress.org or wordpress.com. for it? What are the advantages and disadvantages of both?

  I think WordPress.org will give you more ecommerce flexibility for that sort of project.
