eCommerce plan and what else is needed?

  Hi, we are new to WordPress. We built a website on Wix and then realized we are stuck with their credit card processing which won’t allow the sale of firearms. We are a gun shop. We will be using Authorize.net.

  My question, after signing up for the WordPress eCommerce plan what other features do we need to pay for?

  Thanks for getting in touch. Any store that is created and hosted by WordPress.com can not sell firearms as outlined on our store guideline page:

  Store Guidelines

  You’ll need to find a hosting provider that allows those type of sales.

  There are a ton of WordPress templates for firearm websites.

  Those are coming from the other version of WordPress which is the open source WordPress.org software.

  Help with that version of WordPress comes from https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  You’ll still need to find a hosting provider that allows those sales.

  It’s different from what we do here at WordPress.com which is a managed hosting environment.
