edit a gallery on my page?

I can’t edit the gallery on my page because when I click on editing and come back to the visual part it does not show up. I don’t see the icons edit/ delete. Kindly advise, thanks!

Same here. The edit icon under Visual is missing. If you click on “Add Media” it just lets you upload more photos to the overall media library but there’s no way to add them to your gallery page. My gallery is two years old (photos of handmade cards added to the gallery by date of the posts and ordered by post date as well). And with trying to experiment by resorting to an older saved revision I have now messed up my gallery (lost a bunch of current photos). My issue is now solved. Found WordPress’s tutorial on clearing the browser cache (in my case Google Chrome). Gallery works perfect now and I was able to get my card gallery back to the way it was before. The WordPress article located here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/missing-visual-editor/ said to “Please visit Browser Issues page for more troubleshooting hints.” This led me to the next article located here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/. I chose the first light blue link that says “Clearing your browser cookies” which led me to here: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cookies#Google_Chrome. Then I just followed the steps for Google Chrome. For other browsers, just click on the one you have. Once I cleared my brower’s cookies and cache under <Tools> <Clear browsing data> then choosing from the “beginning of time” option, I went into my card gallery to edit it and the edit/delete icon was there in the Visual tab. It works perfectly now!
