Edit button wont come up and a message is on my page to pay a bill but I do the free site.

  I just added info to my page on my wordpress site about a week ago. I went on there today and the edit button will not come up. It keeps saying go to your charge and pay it. I do the free site. I’ve had the free site for at least 5 years and never had this happen. I don’t know what happened. How can I fix this and have the Edit button come up. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  I see you had the WordPress.com Premium Plan in your cart (but did not purchase it) and I’m not able to see how it got there on my end.. were you considering one of our upgrades?

  You can of course remain as a free site, and I have emptied your shopping cart so you do not see that message anymore.

  I’m not sure I understood this, so I wanted to ask, what is the page you are trying to edit? Your homepage or some other page on your site? As long as you are logged in to your WordPress.com account you should see the Edit button, so if you are not seeing it I would like to take a closer look at that page.
