Editing after Changing the Theme
-
After changing the theme, is there any way I can view how my new edits look without having to go to my site’s preview page?
After I changed my theme, I could no longer see how my edits looked on my web page while I am on the edit page. I have to preview the web page in order to see how my edits look publicly. Also, what I type on the edit pages does not have the same formatting as my edits seen on the preview page.
I hope this makes sense!

Not all themes contain editor stylesheets, meaning they will display how your post looks publicly within the editor.
Most new themes do though.
What is the name of the theme you’re trying to use?

I initially used Stow but changed it to Hemingway Rewritten. I encountered the same problem when I changed my theme to any other theme. I also had the same problem with my other wordpress account.

For this theme, the edit pages look different from the preview pages though the fonts are the same on both pages.

If the site you’re referring to is https://inspiredbythesacredheart.wordpress.com/ and the theme you’re using is Hemingway Rewritten, the reason the editor does not match the final page is because that theme does not have an editor stylesheet.
As mentioned, not every theme has one, but newer themes, like Twenty Twenty One, do.

Whoops, left off the last part, sorry!
For themes with editor stylesheets, try https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/block-editor-styles/
