Editing an article – iPad and Brydge keyboard

Hi guys, on a daily basis I edit an article from a client, in a WordPress cms. I’ve recently tried using my new iPad and bluetooth keyboard, to edit this document. Client sends me an article, I paste it into the cms, and edit. Functions that are straightforward on my MacBook, e.g. selecting a paragraph for deletion, are jarring and almost impossible. Any tips on simplifying this?

Editing and/or selecting text on a touch device is a challenge. Typically what I do is to double-tap the first word in the paragraph I want to highlight and then grab the right handle and drag it down to the end of the paragraph.
There are some keyboard shortcuts that you may not be aware of. I did a search for iPad keyboard shortcuts and came up with this.

If you are working through the WordPress App, I’m not sure how many are supported. If you work through Safari, possibly more will work. I don’t see any related to selecting large blocks of text though.
