Editing Categories on all posts (possible to do all at once?)

  Hi! I have over 200+ blog posts, but looking to minimize my Categories to a few simple categories vs having the 30 some that I have, so it is easier for my photography clients to find what they are looking for.

  Is there a way to edit the categories in one mass selection vs. having to go to EVERY single blog post I’ve ever written and unselecting a category?

  For instance

  I want to delete about 20 categories completely
  and leave a few like

  Photography
  Personal
  DIY
  Adventures

  etc.

  To delete a category altogether, you simply go to Posts > Categories, hover under the name of the category, click Delete.

  Note: if one of the categories you want to delete is your current default category, you must first go to Settings > Writing and select a different one as your default post category.

  May cause a few 404 errors, if you can live with that until your site is crawled again by the search engines and/or bookmarked by visitors.
