Editing Footer for Copyright Notice

  I would like to add a simple copyright to appear at the bottom of every page. How do I edit the footer? I am using the Chateau theme.

  I did look in the support pages, but the answers are all for other themes or old, so they don’t work. I’m very new to blogging and WordPress, so I need really detailed instructions.

  Hi there,

  I’d recommend adding the copyright message to a Text Widget in your blog’s footer. You can do that under Appearance > Widgets in your blog’s dashboard. There, you can drag and drop a text widget to one of the footer widget areas in your blog’s theme and add the copyright message you’d like to display there.
