Editing Index Page

  I can’t seem to edit my ‘recipe index’. All the entries on this page are links, so I can edit within the link, but I want to add more links to the page (as i add more recipes to my blog)…I’d appreciate an answer…so frustrating.

  The “Recipe Index in the sidebar is the categories widget which automatically displays all categories you create on your site and all posts assigned to those categories will show up under those categories once you click on them.

  When you create and publish new posts, just assign them to the appropriate category and they will show up when you click on that category name in the “recipe index” module in the sidebar.

  I understand that, however, I have a recipe index page at the top of my page as well which has links. I did figure it out, but it’s not easy or convenient. Thanks for your response.

  You are welcome.

  Pages that you create are static and sit outside of the dynamic blog structure, which means that any changes to those pages have to be done manually. Pages were designed for content that seldom, or rarely, changes such as an about page.

  that’s too bad, because I couldn’t figure out a better way to have a comprehensive list of recipes independent of the sidebar list. Eventually I may change the style or theme to make it easier/better as i progress and find out what I really like/dislike about the program.
