Editing Page Login Help

    Why doesn’t WordPress recognize my email when I log in to edit a page? I can log in perfectly fine when I log into wordpress.com and can access my dashboard, but when I click to edit a page on my website, I am taken to a second log-in page for WordPress. That is when WordPress displays that it does not recognize my email. What can I do about this?

    Site: (email visible only to moderators and staff).
    WP.com: Unknown
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    It sounds like your site may have some plugins that compete with the WordPress.com editor, so it would force you to use wp-admin. Are you able to click a blue “Log in with WordPress.com” button there?

    If that isn’t properly connected for whatever reason, your host may be able to help you make backups and use one of these recovery options so you can access wp-admin on your site.
